Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Cathedral City Concrete, cathedralcityconcrete.com, projects@cathedralcityconcrete.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply when you use this website or hire Cathedral City Concrete, a concrete contractor in Cathedral City, CA, for work at your property. By browsing the site, asking for an estimate or booking a job, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or our services.

Your written estimate or contract for a specific job may add terms of its own. If it conflicts with this page, the signed document controls for that job.

What we do

We build and repair concrete in Cathedral City and the cities around it. That includes driveways, patios, sidewalks, pool decks, steps, garage floors, slabs, foundations, footings, retaining walls, stamped and decorative work, foundation raising and concrete cutting. You'll find the full list on our home page, and you can read about how our crew works on our About page.

What's on this site is general information about how this kind of work usually goes. It isn't a promise about your job, because every property's soil, drainage and access are different.

Estimates and pricing

Our estimates are free, done on site and come with no obligation. Each one is based on what we can see and measure at the visit, including the size and thickness of the slab, the base work, access for the truck and crew, the finish you pick and current material costs.

Some things only show up once the old concrete is out, such as a soft subgrade, which is the ground the slab sits on, buried debris, roots or old concrete that's thicker than expected. If we find something that changes the work or the price, we'll explain it before we go further, and we won't charge for extra work you haven't approved.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

We set a start date once you accept the estimate. Concrete depends on the weather, so we may move a pour for heat, wind or rain, because pouring in the wrong conditions leaves a weaker surface that wears out sooner. We'll tell you as soon as we know a date has to change.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, call or write to us as early as you can. If we've already ordered materials, set forms or booked a concrete delivery, you may owe those costs. Any cancellation rights in your contract or under the law still apply.

Payment

Your estimate or contract spells out what you'll pay, any deposit and when the balance is due. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is complete.

Late balances may carry charges as the law allows, and we may pause work on a job until a past-due amount is paid.

Your part of the job

We need clear access to the work area and a working water source on the day of the pour. Please keep people, pets and vehicles off new concrete for as long as we tell you, because it keeps gaining strength while it cures and damage in those first days is hard to undo.

Permit and HOA rules vary by city and neighborhood. Unless your contract says otherwise, it's up to you to confirm what your project needs and get those approvals.

Warranties and what they don't cover

We stand behind our work, and if something isn't right, tell us and we'll come look at it. Any written warranty for your job is in your contract. Apart from that warranty and anything the law requires, our services and this website come without other warranties, express or implied.

Concrete can get small hairline cracks even when it's placed well. We cut control joints, grooves that give the slab a planned place to crack, so cracks show up where they do the least harm, but nobody can promise a slab will never crack. Warranties don't cover damage from soil movement we couldn't see, loads the slab wasn't built for, tree roots, irrigation or standing water, chemicals, or changes someone else makes after we leave.

Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, Cathedral City Concrete isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages that come from using this website or our services. Our total liability on any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

This site may link to other websites we don't control, and we aren't responsible for what's on them. Nothing on this page limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

If we disagree

Call us first at (442) 219-3033 or reach us through our Contact page, because most problems get settled faster standing at the slab than on paper. If we can't work it out between us, we both agree to try mediation in good faith before anyone goes to court, unless your contract sets a different process.

Which law applies

These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any court case about them will be filed in a California court that covers the area where the work was done.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and changes take effect when they're posted on this page. A job under a signed contract follows the terms that were in place when you signed it.

Questions about these terms

If anything here isn't clear, call us at (442) 219-3033, seven days a week from 8 AM to 9 PM, or send a note through our Contact page. We reply within 1 business day.
